Sedgwick County Sheriff conducts second internet sexual exploitation of a child felony case
OGALLALA, Neb. - For the second time in less than a week, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office in Northeastern Colorado, made an arrest of a man on felony Sexual Exploitation of a Child charges. The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation into a male party identified as Brian Johnson, 39, of Ogallala, Nebraska after it was discovered that he was engaging in a sexual conversation with an adolescent female with the purpose of sexual exploitation. It was discovered that Johnson had engaged in exchanging sexual explicit pictures with the adolescent female.
Johnson was arrested at his house by the Ogallala Police Department. Johnson is being held on two felony charges of: Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child, both Class 4 felonies.
As per the release from the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson is being held in Keith County Jail on no bond, awaiting extradition to Colorado. This arrest came just a day after a Brush, Colorado man turned himself in to the SCSO on similar charges.
